The wife of the late, legendary Irrfan Khan recently took to the comments section of an Instagram post by journalist Sadiq Saleem to shower some serious love on Pakistani actress Hajra Yamin. Discussing Yamin’s performance in the drama Doctor Bahu, Sikdar didn’t hold back.
Calling the actress an ‘underrated gem,’ Sikdar wrote about how Yamin shines even when paired with less capable co-stars. ‘She is so thorough with her scenes that she really doesn’t need a great co-star,’ the writer noted. She went on to say that whenever Yamin got a strong co-actor, the entire dynamic of the scene shifted drastically. Sikdar also praised the show itself, calling it ‘a well written and directed show.’
