The actress pushed back against speculation that her character shares a romantic storyline with co-star Rashmika Mandanna. ‘It is really sad because, as Dinesh Vijan said, do ladke hote hain toh bromance ho jata hai, and do ladkiyaan hoti hain, toh somehow people don’t want to believe they can be friends. Yaa toh inn mein rivalry hai, ya toh kuch aur chal raha hai,’ Kriti said, according to a source present at the event.

He explained that Kriti and Rashmika share a friendly bond off-screen and often behave in an affectionate, playful manner.
