Cinecrazy respects intellectual property rights. If you believe that content on our Site infringes your copyright, please follow the process below.
Filing a takedown notice
To submit a valid DMCA takedown notice, send an email to [email protected] with the subject line “DMCA Notice”. Your notice must include all of the following:
- Your full legal name, address, telephone number, and email address;
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
- The specific URL(s) on Cinecrazy where the allegedly infringing material appears;
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf;
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Response time
We will acknowledge valid notices within 72 hours of receipt. Investigation and resolution (removal or other action) will follow within 7–14 business days, depending on the complexity of the claim.
Counter-notification
If you believe that material was removed in error — for example, because you own the rights or the use is covered by fair use — you may submit a counter-notification to the same address. A valid counter-notification must include:
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email;
- Identification of the material removed and its former location on the Site;
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake;
- Your consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant court;
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we may restore the material and notify the original complainant.
Repeat infringer policy
Cinecrazy will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, access for users or contributors who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights.
False claims
Be aware that filing a knowingly false DMCA notice or counter-notification is a serious matter. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who materially misrepresents that material is infringing — or that it was removed by mistake — may be liable for damages, including costs and legal fees.
