Abhimanyu Singh Looks Back at Ram-Leela Days

Abhimanyu Singh, who has been a constant presence in Hindi and regional cinema since his debut in ‘Aks’ (2001), recently opened up about his experience working on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’. The actor, who recently impressed audiences with his dark, gritty role in the web series ‘Inspector Avinash 2’, had nothing but sweet memories from the Bhansali set.

“Ranveer is very fun-loving. I worked with him in Ram-Leela. He is a very happy-go-lucky kind of person. He is a good actor. He has a good accent. So, it was fun,” Abhimanyu said in a candid conversation. He also called Bhansali one of the best in the business, describing the filmmaker as a true visionary and the set atmosphere as creatively charged.

Celebrating Dhurandhar’s Success, Flagging Bollywood’s Challenges

Abhimanyu Singh also expressed his joy over Ranveer Singh’s recent success with the web series ‘Dhurandhar’. “And Dhurandhar did such a miracle. I was very happy. It was very important,” he remarked. The actor noted that such successes are crucial for the industry’s morale.

Turning to the broader picture, Abhimanyu didn’t shy away from discussing the current state of Bollywood. “There is content and talent, but it should reach the right audience. I think that gap is a big reason why Bollywood is not doing well,” he observed. The actor believes the industry is struggling to connect with audiences, and bridging that divide is the biggest challenge ahead.

Addressing Mom 2 Rumours with Khushi Kapoor

When asked about reports of a potential sequel to the 2017 film ‘Mom’, in which he starred alongside the late Sridevi, and speculation that Khushi Kapoor might be involved, Abhimanyu kept it straightforward. “I have no idea because I did Mom with Sridevi Ma’am, and it was my extreme good luck that I somehow ended up working with her. I have no idea about Mom 2,” he said.

The actor’s candid response puts any rumours about his involvement to rest — at least for now. As for what’s next, Abhimanyu remains focused on his own journey, and fans can look forward to more powerful performances from this versatile actor who continues to shine across languages and genres.
