Bandra to host major action set pieces
Salman Khan and Nayanthara are gearing up for the next shooting schedule of their highly anticipated film, and this time, the action is coming to Mumbai. The yet-untitled project, directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally, will see the lead pair filming intense action sequences across multiple locations in and around Bandra starting June 10.
According to industry sources, the urban backdrop has been chosen specifically to give the action sequences a gritty, real-world texture. A source close to the production revealed, “The team will shoot across multiple outdoor locations in and around Bandra because the sequences require the texture and scale of an urban setting. The sequences, featuring both leads, include chases, vehicle-based action, close-quarter combat, and crowd-heavy moments.”
One of the film’s biggest action set pieces will feature Salman Khan in a sequence that begins as a pursuit and escalates into a full-blown confrontation. Insiders say this moment is expected to be a highlight of the film, showcasing the superstar’s signature style.
First collaboration between Salman and Nayanthara
This film marks the first on-screen collaboration between Salman Khan and South Indian superstar Nayanthara, adding to the buzz around the project. Produced by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film has been generating excitement across both Hindi and South Indian markets.
While plot details remain tightly under wraps, the film is being mounted on a large scale and is expected to blend action, drama, and commercial entertainment. Nayanthara is said to have an action-packed role, matching Salman’s intensity in the film.
The Mumbai schedule comes after the production team wrapped a filming stint in Manali. Production officially began in April 2026, and the makers have been working through multiple schedules to keep the project on track for its planned release.
Eid 2027 release planned
The makers are reportedly planning an Eid 2027 release for the film, a traditional slot for Salman Khan’s big-ticket entertainers. An official title and first-look announcement are still awaited, but fans are already speculating about what the superstar has in store.
Vamshi Paidipally, known for directing successful films like Maharshi and Varisu, is bringing his signature style to this project. With Salman Khan and Nayanthara joining forces, the film is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated releases of 2027.
