I was not in the zone to share a health update. Today, papa’s health is slightly better,” he shared.
Shoaib explained that his father had been on blood thinners, delaying surgery for several days. “On Wednesday, he had an endoscopy, and the blood clot was removed. The procedure went well. Papa was under sedation for the whole day. He started responding after that,” he said. The actor noted that his father, who had suffered a brain stroke in 2021 and was partially paralyzed, initially showed no response upon admission. “When we brought him here on the first day, he was numb and wasn’t reacting. But after 24-36 hours of the surgery, he started responding slowly.” However, complications arose with his heart rate and blood pressure, leading to him being placed on a ventilator as a precaution.
In a significant development, Shoaib confirmed that his father is now off the ventilator. “Today, they removed the ventilator. He has a pipe going through his neck; however, all his vitals are okay,” he said. While there are minor concerns about bubbles forming in his intestines due to prolonged anesthesia, doctors are monitoring the situation. “It’s not a major issue,” Shoaib assured. He added that his father’s speech hasn’t returned yet, requiring speech therapy, but shared a touching moment: “Today when I met him, he smiled. He is responding now and trying to talk.”

She had a PET Scan, and as we knew, there were two new dots, so that treatment will begin. Things are in control for her as of now,” he revealed.
