Kangana’s full-throttle support for Ranveer

Kangana Ranaut has never shied away from speaking her mind, and this time she’s got Ranveer Singh’s back. At the trailer launch of her upcoming film Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata, the actress was asked about the recent ban imposed on Ranveer by the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE). Her response? Pure gold.

“You’re asking me? I’ve been banned by everyone,” she laughed before getting serious. Kangana then dropped some wisdom, saying that as a person’s stature grows, so do their rivals. She told the media that Ranveer shouldn’t take the ban to heart — it’s just a sign of his rising status.

“Aisa nahi ho sakta ki aapki haisiyat badhe aur dushman na badhein. Ranveer Singh ko sochna chahiye ki unki kya haisiyat hai ki unke itne dushman hai,” she said, adding that obstacles are part of the journey forward.

‘Mere saath bhi itna hua hai’ – Kangana on facing bans

Drawing from her own experiences, Kangana made it clear that such bans have little real impact. “Mere sath bhi itna hua hai and look today I’m doing well. Meri bhi gaadi achi chal rahi hai. Kuch nahi hota. Everything is going to be fine eventually,” she assured.

The actress has had her fair share of industry run-ins, from public spats with Karan Johar to being called out by various film bodies. But she’s always bounced back, and she believes Ranveer will too.

What’s the Ranveer Singh controversy all about?

For those who missed it, FWICE recently issued a Non-Cooperation Directive (NCD) against Ranveer Singh after producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani complained that the actor’s reported exit from Don 3 caused a loss of approximately Rs 45 crore in pre-production costs. The ban prohibits any FWICE member from working with Ranveer until the matter is resolved.

While the news sent shockwaves through Bollywood, Kangana’s reaction offers a different perspective. She seems to imply that such setbacks are merely speed bumps for stars who are truly on the rise.

At the same trailer launch, Kangana also turned heads with her stunning traditional look. She wore an ivory Kanjeevaram silk saree with a rich purple border and gold zari work, designed by textile revivalist Gaurang Shah. The saree featured intricate Mochi embroidery, highlighting her love for India’s handloom heritage. Her Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata, which sheds light on unsung heroes of the 26/11 attacks, is set to hit theatres on June 12.

As for Ranveer, industry insiders say he’s taking legal steps to address the situation. Meanwhile, Kangana’s message is clear: keep moving forward. After all, as she put it, “Jeevan mein jab aap aage badhte hain toh bahut sare obstacles aate hain.”
