Rumours of script issues put to rest
Fans of Mohanlal were left worried after reports surfaced claiming that his upcoming film Athimanoharan had been stalled due to script-related problems. But director Tharun Moorthy has quickly stepped in to clear the air, stating that everything is moving smoothly on set.
Taking to his Instagram Stories, the filmmaker addressed the buzz directly, calling it ‘completely false.’ He revealed that the team has been shooting in Thodupuzha for the past 78 days and while heavy rains have caused some delays, there has been no creative disruption. ‘We are working hard to overcome every challenge and continue filming with great enthusiasm,’ he added.
Why misinformation spread
Social media chatter about creative hurdles had gained traction in recent days, leading many to believe the project was on hold. However, Tharun clarified that the weather — not the script — has been the only factor affecting the schedule. He also urged content creators to verify facts before sharing them online.
‘I kindly request everyone not to post or spread unverified information for personal likes, views, or reach. Such misinformation can create unnecessary confusion among the audience and affect the efforts of the entire team,’ the director wrote, asking fans for patience and support.
What we know about Athimanoharan so far

With the director’s clarification, fans can now look forward to further updates as production continues.
