Big Date Shift for the Comedy Franchise
Bollywood is buzzing with news of a new release date for one of its most loved comedy franchises. Dhamaal 4, which was originally set to hit cinemas on July 17, has now been preponed to July 10. A source close to the film revealed that the decision came after the July 10 slot opened up, following the announcement that Alpha, starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, will release on July 3. The makers felt that July 10 was the perfect window for the comic caper, and fans will get to laugh a week earlier than expected. An official announcement is reportedly on the way.
Returning Cast and New Faces
Directed by Indra Kumar, Dhamaal 4 reunites the franchise’s core ensemble: Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Sanjay Mishra, and Jaaved Jaaferi. They are joined by fresh additions Esha Gupta, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Anjali Anand, Upendra Limaye, Vijay Patkar, and Ravi Kishan. The film is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series in association with Devgn Films, and is produced by a powerhouse team including Ajay Devgn, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Ashok Thakeria, Indra Kumar, Anand Pandit, and Kumar Mangat Pathak.
Why the Rush to July 10?
Trade insiders suggest that the earlier date makes strategic sense. With Alpha occupying July 3, the July 10 slot was free, and the makers of Dhamaal 4 saw an opportunity to grab a prime holiday weekend. Fans of the franchise, which has delivered iconic comedy moments over the years, are already marking their calendars. While details of the plot remain under wraps, the film promises to bring back the madcap energy and slapstick humour that made the original trio of films a cult favourite. Keep an eye out for the official poster and trailer drop soon. Yaar, ab toh wait khatam hone wala hai!
