KGF superstar Yash and his actress wife Radhika Pandit have reportedly made a splash in the real estate market, picking up a stunning beachfront land parcel in Alibag for a whopping Rs 24 crores. The couple joins a growing list of Bollywood bigwigs who’ve set their sights on Maharashtra’s coastal gem for their dream homes and vacation getaways.
According to registration documents accessed by real estate consultancy Liases Foras, the transaction was sealed on May 18, with Yash shelling out an additional Rs 1.44 crores in stamp duty alone. The paperwork also reveals registration fees of Rs 60,000 and document handling charges of Rs 5,200 — chai paani for a deal of this magnitude, really. The land is officially classified as agricultural property under Section 7, with a valuation rate of Rs 3,750 per square metre.
Inside the Beachfront Property Deal
The property is located in Village Kamath, Taluka Alibag, District Raigad, and comprises two adjoining agricultural land parcels that together span a generous 5,289 square metres (that’s about 0.5289 hectares). But here’s the real kicker — the land sits right on the edge of the Arabian Sea. Documents show the parcel is bordered by a village road on the eastern side and the sea on the western side, with a narrow lane running along the northern boundary that offers direct beach access. Talk about waking up to sunrise and surf!
Alibag has become the go-to spot for celebs wanting a quick escape from the Mumbai madness. Over the years, names like Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Ranveer Singh have snapped up properties in the area, turning it into a mini Bollywood colony by the sea. With Yash and Radhika now joining the party, the desi Hamptons vibe just got stronger.
