Manali wrap, Bandra next for Salman-Nayanthara film
Bollywood’s bhaijaan is trading snow-capped mountains for Mumbai’s bustling lanes. After completing the Manali leg of their yet-untitled film, Salman Khan and Nayanthara are gearing up for the next schedule in the Maximum City. The team will kick off shooting on June 10, with multiple outdoor locations in and around Bandra serving as the backdrop for some gritty, high-energy sequences.
Industry sources reveal that the urban setting is crucial for the look and feel of these scenes. “The sequences demand the texture and scale of a cityscape—narrow lanes, crowded markets, and wide roads. Bandra offers that perfect mix,” a source close to the production said. The entire unit is expected to be stationed in the area for several days.
Chases, combat, and crowd-heavy action
The upcoming schedule will feature both leads in intense action moments. According to reports, the scenes include chases, vehicle-based stunts, close-quarter combat, and segments involving large crowds. Director Vamshi Paidipally and producer Dil Raju have planned a major action piece centered on Salman Khan. Insiders suggest it begins as a pursuit and gradually builds into a full-blown confrontation—one of the film’s biggest set-pieces.
Salman Khan has always had a knack for massy action, and this sequence is being designed to give fans exactly what they expect: larger-than-life moments with a raw, street-level energy. Nayanthara, too, will be seen joining the action, though details of her stunts are being kept under wraps for now.
Title reveal on the cards, and another project in the pipeline
The film’s title has not been officially announced yet, but buzz suggests a launch video could drop within the next two weeks. The makers are confident the reveal will create a storm on social media, especially given Salman’s massive fan following. The project is currently lined up for an Eid 2027 theatrical release, continuing the superstar’s tradition of dropping big films on the festive weekend.
Meanwhile, Salman also has ‘Maatrubhoomi: May War Rest in Peace’ in the works. Previously known as ‘Battle of Galwan’, the film draws inspiration from the real-life 2020 clash between Indian and Chinese troops in the Galwan Valley. No official release date has been announced yet, but expectations are high.
With Bandra set to turn into an action movie set soon, Salman Khan and Nayanthara’s film is already generating serious chatter. Ab dekhte hain kitna dhamaka hota hai!
