Kangana’s new video pays tribute to everyday heroes

Kangana Ranaut is turning the spotlight on the real stars of the nation — the common man. Ahead of the June 12 release of her upcoming film Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata, the actor has shared a new promotional video that explains the meaning behind the film’s title and the people it honors.

In the clip, Kangana asks viewers to imagine a single day without the workers who keep the country running. “Ek din imagine kijiye, hospital mein nurses na aayein, school mein staff na aayein, railway staff na aayein, city mein safai karmchaari na aayein, theatre ka staff na aayein, aur jab aapko darr lage toh aapki sahayata karne na aayein,” she says. “Ek hi dinn mein sara system ruk jaayega. Phir bhi hum unnhe kya bulaate hai? Aam aadmi. Kuch khaas karke, aam hi kehlata hai. Wahi hai, asli Bharat Bhhagya Vidhaata.”

The film centers on the unsung heroes who work behind the scenes — nurses, ward attendants, cleaners, security personnel, lift operators, and administrative staff. According to the makers, the story explores how these workers responded during a challenging period while continuing to carry out their responsibilities.

What to expect from the film

Kangana plays a staff nurse in Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata, which is largely set within a hospital environment. The narrative focuses on themes of duty, resilience, and collective responsibility, while highlighting the contributions of healthcare and support staff during a time of uncertainty.

Apart from Kangana Ranaut, the film features Girija Oak, Smita Tambe, Amrutha Namdev, Esha Dey, Priya Berde, Asha Shelar, Suhita Thatte, Rasika Aghase, Aditya Mishra, and Zahid Khan in key roles. Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata is written and directed by Manoj Tapadia.
