Akshay Kumar just gave fans a sneak peek into the madness on the sets of his upcoming comedy, Welcome To The Jungle, and honestly, it’s everything we needed. The actor took to Instagram to share a hilarious behind-the-scenes clip where he’s seen pulling a prank on his longtime co-star Rajpal Yadav. In the video, Akshay can be seen showing off his “horsepower” — literally riding a wooden horse contraption while teasing Rajpal. The caption said it all: “It was fun showing off my horsepower to @rajpalofficial Welcome To The Jungle is more junglee than you can imagine!! See you in cinemas on 26th June, 2026!”
Fans went absolutely bonkers in the comments. One wrote, “Akshay we proud of you you always down to earth sir,” while another added, “Nothing, just Akshay Kumar things.” Clearly, the internet loves when these two share screen space — and the off-screen chemistry is already winning hearts.

Director Ahmed Khan on the ‘360-degree’ cast change
Given the massive ensemble, some fans wondered why the original Welcome cast wasn’t fully retained. Director Ahmed Khan recently addressed this in an interview, explaining that the franchise has always been about fresh combinations. “If you see Welcome, it is a film that is regularly made, and there is nothing like a similar cast. Akshay (Kumar) was in the first one, John (Abraham) was in the second one, and now again Akshay is in the third one. So it was a complete 360-degree turnaround from the Welcome series. So it’s okay, people keep coming and going,” he said.
